In A Minute

But Not Literally a Minute

I find myself saying, “in a minute” a lot these days. It might be because I’m tired or my exuberant toddler always seems to need something. Either way, I think she has figured out that ‘a minute’ is usually longer then she wants it to be. It has made me evaluate the sayings I use and what they actually mean.

I’ve been trying to be more descriptive and mean what I say. I think setting clear expectations for Juniper will be helpful. Instead of spouting off a quick quip, I intend to be more intentional with my words.
