I'm a white, christian male.

These "labels" painted quite an ugly picture last week. I've stayed publicly silent as I've processed what happened in Charlottesville. Consuming media has left me confused, angry, and sad. 

I denounce the hateful speech and actions of the various groups associated. I'm doing everything possible to disassociate myself from the sentiments those "labels" are carrying today.

BUT, I won't return their hate with more hate. I won't be calling them names or applauding those that have punched them in the face. These parties are acting from a fear of something. We must defeat the fear.
