I often fall into a mental state where I
think I'm not qualified.
For a bigger professional role.
For leading an initiative.
For teaching a skill.
It's easy to allow this false mindset to take over. Resulting in lack of motivation and ineffectiveness.
However I was recently reminded that if I know just a little more than the next person, I'm
qualified. To lead, to teach, to own the space. It isn't the years of experience or the letters after my name that matter in those instances. It's my knowledge of a topic that qualifies me to take the reins.
