Where did the time go?

A reflection on 30 years


Tomorrow is my 30th birthday. This milestone has unearthed a lot of feelings. 

Excited, because it's a big year.
Frustrated, because I wish I'd accomplished more with my years.
Mature, because for some reason 30 feels like an adult age. 
Sad, because my 20s are over (even as a kid I always looked up to those in their 20s).
Hopeful, because I now have 30 years of life to learn from.
Relieved, because I used to think 30 was "so old" and now I know it's not. Right?

I think I'm ready, but I don't really have any other choice.
