One of the greatest baseball movies of all time, Field of Dreams, is built on the
phrase: "If you build it, he will come".
This makes a great catch phrase for a film about ghosts of baseball greats; but it doesn't translate perfectly in the real world. However, I think there is much to learn by flipping the phrase.
"If you build nothing, no one will come".
I've talked with many people who want to be 'thought leaders', but they don't spend the time to build an trusting audience. If you want to attract an audience, stop procrastinating. Take action.
