Last year I illustrated and 'wrote' a children's picture book. It has a whopping ten words on the inside plus some informational content the back. Yesterday, someone pointed out a one letter typo on the back cover.
I was immediately horrified. I spent months working on the book and felt amazing about the accomplishment.
So why am I telling you this? I had a choice in that moment: I could beat myself up about a silly human error –or– shake it off and be proud that I self-published a book! I chose the latter because done is better than perfect.
