I was listening to a podcast last week with a comedian as a guest host, he shared a piece of that Louie Anderson gave him. 

"Tell only the jokes you can tell."

Anyone can tell jokes about generic life circumstances, but only you can craft certain jokes about your experience. Tell those jokes. 

I think this can apply to everyone. Do your job the way only you can. Let's all strive to be our own unique selves, not a generic version. Tell the jokes only you can tell. I think that will make our lives way more interesting.
