I've never been an automation junkie. Sure, I thought it was cool when my thermostat learned my behavior, but I always overwrote that schedule. However, in the last few weeks, I've been on an automation kick. It started with installing a sensor light switch in our basement, next a wifi plug.

I've now got the bug and it seems like I'm daily trying to figure out more things to automate; often getting frustrated when it doesn't work the way I want it to. I'm quickly digging into more complex automation and I'm thinking it's time to learn some scripting code!
