I love pink, I think it's a great color. But when we found out we were having a girl, I was terrified that it meant an onslaught of pink! I went as far as requesting no pink at my baby shower! 

I am a firm believer that girls like pink and boys like blue because of marketing. Left on their own, they may not pick those colors. Pink and blue is a marketing ploy to sell more toys. 

Pink is currently the favorite color in our house, some days purple, but it's her choice, and I'm ok with that!
