I have a friend that is amazing at introducing others. We went on a trip together and were staying with someone he knew. That evening he made a normal, simple intro and then took the time to tell us each something special about the other that he found fascinating.

I'd never been introduced like that before, but it felt awesome to be known. It went beyond "Michael likes to do x" to "Michael is a great x because he did y and makes me think differently about z".

That introduction forever changed the way I think and talk about friends.
